Hey Ian,

I wanted to drop you a line and let you know how well your book is doing. I've personally purchased and given away 5 copies. To everyone from co-workers, to my niece and nephew, and to non-technical associates who just want to build their own website.

Here is a quote from a friend that was just handed the marketing reigns at a small custom closet store in Santa Cruz, CA:

"I got the book and read about the first 1/4 of it and it is all making sense so far. I took a web design class at Mission College a few years ago and ended up not finishing it, but just the small amount of CSS that I read about last night makes what I did before seem futile."

Great work, Ian. You're making a difference!

Best,
Steve

I recommended it to a colleague a few weeks ago. He was going to dust off his copy of Frontpage and buy a book for it, but I managed to persuade him to resist the lure of the dark side. Saw him today and he was raving about the book, said it was pitched at just the right level for someone like him who knows how to use a computer but has absolutely no web experience. Nice work! And no, I'm not stalking you, it just appears that way. ;-)
