Grabber’s Delight

So, this new iPhone thing. It’s gonna be great isn’t it? It’ll be like the *new* white headphones – that screamingly obvious sign that says you are in ownership of some high value gadgetry. The oh-so-lovely (virtual) buttons seem to scream ‘Mug me!’ in their own delightfully lickable, tastefully designed finish. Only this time the muggers get your phone, your camera, your music, your emails and your photos. Let’s hope that no-one invents a system that lets your iPhone wirelessly start your car, too!

it’s obviously not a device “for the real world”. it’s for when you’re on your corporate campus, in your cublicle or cafeteria, in meetings with your high-powered clients and having a frappacino in starf*cks while jotting down some haikus and blogging on your MBP…

Hehe, I’ve been thinking exactly the same thing. I can’t imagine anything more likely to get you mugged – that’s nearly five hundred quids worth of shiny, desirable hardware. Hell, even I’d mug someone for it!

@Patrick: Have you been following me?

:-D

Seriously though, at the head office where I work, there are around 3000 employees and when clients come in for meetings we usually *do* take them to our in-house cafe that serves Starbucks. I’m having a latte as I type this, sitting next to my MacBook Pro. No haikus though.

Hoho–
Another new GIZMO for the super techsavvy!
But I go with patrick h. lauke –its not for common world–as yet in the near forseable future.
It might be very popular with the young corporate upper ladder who loves to combine all the things money can buy –technology wise. :D

Nice stuff, but this one I wouldn’t buy. It is a great idea, but only an device for private use….
